A depleted O’Raghalliaghs squad were too strong for a young Finbars team played at the County Grounds in wet conditions on Monday night. Captain on the night Keelan McCullough won the toss and straight from the throw in the ball was played long into Cameron Griffen who dispatched the ball to the net. Roy Rodgers, Mason Moran and Neville Rath added to the score before Griffen got his second goal of the night with a neat left foot finish to the corner of the net. The Finbars kept at it and opened their account with a neat goal followed by a quick point. The home team made several positional changes in the second half. Pearse Rice added a fisted goal and Olan Walshe added 1-1 before the visitors replied with 2 goals. Eoghan Wall played probably his best match in the green and white hoops. Cillene Floyd was steady as ever in goals and Oisin Callan worked tirelessly in the corner. The home team were a little wasteful with chances created but got the job done.Best for them were Cameron Griffen, Keelan Rath, Oisin Callan and Neville Rath.
